About
Aurora Loufek was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Psychology and English. After graduating from Rutgers, Ms. Loufek worked as a Laboratory Manager at the Early Learning Center, conducting experiments with infants and writing for publication. When presented with a choice between graduate school and teaching, Dr. Loufek chose teaching and has never regretted that choice. Dr. Loufek taught Language Arts for ten years at Technology High School in Newark and became the same school's Department Chair and Vice-Principal. Dr. Loufek completed her doctorate in educational leadership and wrote her dissertation on the impact of restorative practices in the classroom.
