December 23, 2024

Dear Edison Township Public Schools Community,

One of my greatest joys as the Superintendent is witnessing the abundance of creativity and collaboration that flourish in our schools during the winter concert season. From our youngest elementary musicians proudly performing in public for the first time, to our middle schoolers further developing their rhythm and voice, and to the polished harmonies of our high school ensembles, these are more than just events; they are celebrations of the exceptional hard work that defines our Edison Township Public Schools community. As a piano player myself, I deeply appreciate the effort it takes to create something so meaningful and share it with others.

This season of giving and reflection also reminds me of the connections we share in all aspects of our district. Every student, with their unique passions and talents, adds a distinct thread to the vibrant fabric of our schools. These achievements would not be possible without our outstanding staff, who motivate, guide, and support our students every day, or without the families who nurture their success. These ties strengthen and unite our community.

As we welcome the New Year, I am inspired by the potential and progress that 2025 promises for our students. Together, we will build on our successes, foster new growth opportunities, and continue our shared commitment to our students.

Please note that all schools will be closed from December 24 through January 1, 2025, reopening on Thursday, January 2. I wish your families moments of celebration, connection, and renewal as we welcome 2025.

On behalf of the Edison Township Board of Education, I wish you a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year. Thank you for an outstanding 2024!

Sincerely,

Edward Aldarelli, Ed.D.
